The translations and the “Good to know” notes are CivicLearn’s. Seven of these are multiple choice and one is true-or-false; the bank also has fill-in, matching, sorting, open and map questions, described in the guide.

Correct answer: Δ) 132.000 τετραγωνικά χιλιόμετρα περίπου — about 132,000 square kilometres
Good to knowThe official figure is 131,957 km², which the bank rounds to 132,000. Roughly a fifth of that area is islands, and about four fifths of the mainland is hills or mountains. The wrong options are chosen to look plausible, so learn the number itself: 132.

Good to knowThree seas frame the country: the Ionian Sea to the west, the Aegean Sea to the east and the Libyan Sea south of Crete. Greece sits at the southern end of the Balkan peninsula, in south-eastern Europe. Statement 2 is the trap: every other statement is correct, and candidates in a hurry mark all four as Σ.
